Count down! The Second Annual Okoboji Writers’ Retreat is just days away.
Richard and I are scrutinizing the roster for last-minute updates. Below is a list of attendees we have for the 2022 retreat. If you spot an error in spelling, or you think you should be on the list, but your name is missing, please let me know as soon as possible. JulieOkobojiWriters@gmail.com.
If you cannot attend and did not notify us before September 1, we will comp you into the 2023 retreat. If you cannot attend and requested a refund but have not received it, please let me know.
As of today, we are two spots away from capacity. There can be an ebb and flow, so we don’t want to turn someone away who is on the waiting list.

Reminder: There will be a hotdog roast Sunday evening, September 18, hosted by participants from last year’s retreat. Bring your beverage (wine & beer: ok) and something to share (not required). I believe we will have a 50th birthday to celebrate. She’s bringing cake.
We will start bright and early Monday morning and close by noon Wednesday. The agenda will be sent to you soon.
If you do not have housing lined up and need a place, let me know.
Bring the following:
Comfortable clothing for all weather conditions. (rain gear, too). Think summer camp, NOT gala attire.
A spirit of adventure (essential)
Cash or credit card for some meals (lunch is provided Monday and Tuesday), t-shirts, and book sales.
Umbrella (who knows?)
Flashlight
Your favorite writing instrument.
